STUD SIRES

Summit Heartbreaker e086
Sire: Summit Falcon
Dam: Summit Miss Sweetie A15
Born: 30/3/09

POLLED
Summit Heartbreaker E086 is our new up and coming stud supersire.
Sired by ultimate breed changing sire Summit Falcon and out of one of the top 10
females in our stud Summit Miss Sweetie A15. Heartbreaker is set to be even
better than his dad with outstanding shape and muscle.
We look forward to his progeny.

Summit HAWKEYE D124
2009 Brunswick Heifer show Supersire Futurity winner
Sire: Summit Playboy B57
Dam: Summit Swift Z21
Born: 21/4/08

POLLED
Hawkeye has been a standout animal since birth. An extremely long, soft dark, eye-catching bull.
This was exemplified when he won the 2009 Brunswick Heifer Show Supersire Futurity class at only 10-months-old. He also has an extreme growth reaching 630kgs at 12mo and 900kgs at 18mo though he has stopped and shouldn't get any bigger. His dam is an outstanding cow with extreme milk. We are excited what he will do for our herd.

SUMMIT KRUMP D40
Sire: Summit Falcon A76
Dam: Summit Salsa Z44
Born: 25/3/08
POLLED
Krump is all meat. He is super early-maturing, combined with extreme muscling and high milk. He had the best scan for a junior bull we have ever seen- 136sqcm EMA, with 7mm P8 fat at 828kgs and only 18 months old. We believe he has a lot to add to any beef operation and we are excited what he is going to do to ours.

Summit Humdinger D11
Sire: WGG Humbug
Dam: Summit Anna S4
Born: 17/01/08

POLLED
We have been waiting for Humdinger for a long time. He is a full brother to Swallow the best cow in our herd, and he is everything we are looking for. Unfortunately he broke his leg. Luckily we were able to collect him at 13mths old and unbelievably he was able to recover to serve cows and be collected again. He is our number one AI bull. We can’t wait to use him to get Swallow in every calf on our property.

  SUMMIT PRINCE JOHN D6
Sire: JRI Free Agent
Dam: Carlaminda Princess
Born: 6/1/08
POLLED
The only son out of Carlaminda Princess, one of the best full blood females we have ever seen. He is a compact, highly muscled, free moving stud sire prospect. We have used him as a yearling over first and second calvers and we look forward to the progeny.

  Summit Strider Z48 (ET)
Grand champion Gelbvieh bull 2006 Perth Royal Show
Sire: JRI Free Agent 125J3 Dam: Coonamble Sunnyside Q7 (ET)
Born: 25/03/04
POLLED

Strider is our super stud sire. He is everything we are looking for in a stud sire. His soft fleshing and smooth muscling is impressive especially when combined with his free flowing movement and structural correctness. But his best recommendation would be his 4 flush sisters who are all in our top 10 cows.
Semen Available $30 /straw

Summit Cyclone Y27

Sire: Braeside Ventura V43 Dam: Summit Daisy S6 born: 21\03\03
Double Polled
Cyclone is a beef making machine. A very high performance bull, he combines length and muscle with perfect structure and temperament. He is our major composite bull breeding sire used extensively on top Angus and we are ecstatic with the result. While on the upper side of birth weight he is a serious bull in anyone’s eye’s proven in the paddock and at numerous shows.
 Semen Available $40/straw.

Ebony Lodge Freedom Fighter X24 (ET)

Sire: SLC Freedom 178F (ET) Dam: YHR 54Y
Double Polled
An eye catching extra long, dark, modern type bull bought in from Canada as an embryo. Freedom Fighter is a major sire with a very impressive pedigree. He is sired by the highly acclaimed SLC Freedom who has dominated the Gelbvieh world for so long and he is out of a very moderate high producing cow. While he is slightly later maturing than some of our other bulls he makes up for it in overall live weight. On the right cows his calves are very impressive.
Semen Available $ 30/straw

Braeside Ventura V43
Sire: Ebony Lodge Sultan (ET) Dam: Braeside Ritzy Born: 6/4/2000
Polled
Ventura is the father of our herd; since we bought him in 2002 he has had over 100 calves a year, producing cross bred animals like no other. He is also left his mark as a breeder of pure breds with his son Summit Cyclone probably surpassing him. His composite daughters (approximately 400) are the nucleus of our commercial herd. Ventura’s calf getting ability, power and easy fleshing for us are benchmarks in our herd along with his amazing temperament, perfect structure and longevity.

An extreme example of a high quality beef producing sire. He has a lot of milk in his pedigree with his dam being the most prized cow in our herd. IMPORTED SIRES

JRI Grand Prix 53G
(IMP Canada) Sire: JRI PLD Grand Prix ET Dam: JRI MS PLD Summit 53A41 Born: 02/08/97
Homozygous Polled
We brought Grand Prix out from Canada in 2000 from Twin Star Cattle Company after being instantly impressed with his all round balance. A wonderfully easy fleshed bull combined with structural correctness with moderate calf size. His calves did not disappoint us, he is a wonderful standardising bull with progeny excelling in carcass quality and female breeding power- his daughters are the backbone of our herd.

WGG Humbug 72H
(IMPORTED CANADA) Sire: SINK Polled Guzzler D82
Dam: WGG Miss Wind 29X Born: 02/09/98
Double Polled
As soon as we saw Humbug at the Calgary Stampede in Canada we had to have him. A dark rich red bull with the type of muscling rarely seen in the Gelbvieh breed, with extreme early maturity as a feature. The true potential of this bull has only truly been realised recently through the massive breeding power of his daughters and granddaughters. We are excitedly waiting on a full brother to Swallow X23-Best cow in the herd Summit Humdinger who looks like being a super sire.
